Women's soccer (or football) has come a long way in Australia in recent years. The Australian National Women's team, The Matildas, has had some great success and generated a lot of interest in the game.
At Ian McLellan Park on a Monday night over summer you'll find the whole competition is made up of girls soccer teams, on the path to emulating some of the players in the Matildas team- I'm sure some of the current Australian players have played at this great facility in the past.
To locate this cache you'll have to go back to the record books and look at the lineup of the Matildas team for the 2023 Women's World Cup Semi Final match against England. From there, take a look at:
(LUIK, POLKINGHORNE) (NEVIN, CHIDIAC) and (KERR minus KERR, FOORD minus FOORD, VINE)
it would also be useful to look out for:
(HUNT, GORRY minus GORRY) (POLINGHORNE, FOORD) and (GRANT, WILLIAMS)
