גַּן שְׁמוּאֵל הוא קיבוץ מזרם הקיבוץ הארצי השוכן במחוז חיפה מזרחית לחדרה ושייך למועצה אזורית מנשה, בה הוא מהווה היישוב המערבי ביותר. הקיבוץ נקרא על שם הרב שמואל מוהליבר ממבשרי הציונות.
יעקב הינדין, גיסו של הרב שמואל מוהליבר, תרם ב-1895, לציון יום הולדתו ה-70 של מוהליבר, 50 דונם מתוך 5,000 הדונמים שרכש מפעילי תנועת חובבי ציון בארץ ישראל לטובת נטיעת פרדס אתרוגים על שמו של מוהליבר. את ההצעה לכך העלה אברהם יעקב סלוצקי באספת חובבי ציון שהתקיימה בקיץ תרנ"ג בדרוסניק. מייסדי חדרה שנטעו את הפרדס קראו את שמו "גן שמואל". ד"ר זליג סוסקין ניהל את עבודות הכשרת הקרקע לנטיעת הפרדס. לצד הפרדס נבנה בית ובו שתי קומות, הקומה הראשונה שימשה לאחסון כלי עבודה וכאכסניית בעלי חיים והקומה השנייה נמסרה לשימושו של מנהל הפרדס.
Gan Shmuel is a kibbutz of the national kibbutz stream located in the Haifa district east of Hadera and belongs to the Menashe Regional Council, where it is the westernmost settlement. The kibbutz was named after Rabbi Shmuel Mohliber, one of the pioneers of Zionism.
Yaakov Hindin, brother-in-law of Rabbi Shmuel Mohliber, donated in 1895, to mark Mohliber's 70th birthday, 50 dunams out of the 5,000 dunams purchased by the operators of the Hovavi Zion movement in the Land of Israel for the purpose of planting a cypress orchard in Mohliber's name. The proposal for this was made by Avraham Ya'akov Slutsky at the Zion Lovers Assembly held in the summer of 2018 in Drusnik. The founders of Hadera who planted the orchard named it "Gan Shmuel". Dr. Zelig Soskin managed the land preparation work for planting the orchard. A house with two floors was built next to the orchard, the first floor was used to store work tools and as an animal shelter and the second floor was given over to the use of the manager of the orchard.
