Geocache Description:

Florida was the twenty-seventh state to ratify the US constitution on March 3, 1845.
Fun Fact - Florida has the longest coastline (1,197 statute miles) in the contiguous United States, with 825 miles of accessible beaches to enjoy.  It’s the only state that borders both the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico.  Wherever you are in Florida, you're never more than 60 miles from the nearest body of salt water.  The state’s highest natural point, Britton Hill, is only 345 feet above sea level -- the lowest high point of any state in America.  Key West is the southernmost point in the continental United States.

Just a simple park and grab on 1463.  Part of a larger series with more difficult hides in the area neighborhood.

There are 50 states in the United States and there are plenty of options for hides in the West Katy/ Fulshear area. We can’t promise that all 50 states will be represented, but we will try our best.

These caches are placed in the order that states ratified the constitution or were admitted into the United States.  We will start with the thirteen original colonies that ratified the constitution first, then move onto other states as they entered the Union.
