A Low Dollar Photo Scavenger Hunt - The Sequel

The Hunt For More Pictures

Come join the Georgia Geo-Campers in a photo scavenger hunt that will have you combing high and low throughout the local area for who knows what kind of crazy things.

A photo scavenger hunt is a game where teams of players snap pictures of clues to win points. While this challenge can be done solo, we encourage teams of 3 or more to be able to have the most fun.

Each team will use their own phone with camera for the scavenger hunt. While some of the tasks on the list can be done in the park, be prepared to venture into the neighboring communities if you want a chance to complete all the tasks on the list.   The more photo ops completed the more points for your team. There will be a QR code attached to every team's checklist with a link to the event Dropbox file folder to upload pictures for your checklist. 

The photo-taking portion of this challenge is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., With judging and a group presentation to start about 5:30 to 6 p.m.

You can complete the tasks in the best way you know how, just be creative and have fun. All photos and scavenger hunt checklist must be checked in by 3 p.m. Judging will open at 2 pm and should be concluded by 4:30 pm.

Once you have completed it (or as much as you can before 3 pm) you will bring the checklist card to the Lowdollar judging team near the event campsite.  Judging will be completed with each team present while reviewing the pictures and your score tallied. The highest team score WINS!

Whether you scrambled around the area taking pictures or just chilled in the park everyone will get to participate in the shenanigans as we announce the big winners and present a slideshow, near the campfire, of all the entries from about 6 to 7 pm.

Major Awards will be given to the top teams and a few for some of the best or most creative pictures in a few categories.  

Space is limited and we will try and accommodate all who want to participate but please indicate in your will attend if you plan on participating in the hunt and how many in your team so we can be our best prepared.

Please note: THERE IS PARK ENTRANCE FEE of $5.00 per car to enter the park unless you are a member of the Friends of Georgia State Parks.
