We've decided to hide more 4x4 related caches out on the west mesa. The strange thing about the west mesa is everytime we come out here we find something "abnormal". Apparently the further you get from established roads the more "abmornal" things start to get. If you do own a 4x4 this would be a very short walk.
Typical cautions apply when searching for this desert cache. The sand in this area can be deceptively deep and soft. Poor cell phone coverage. Watch for sharp things and things that bite.
