9th November - Refuse Collection and Recycling at Alney

Parking: is at the headline coordinates in the Alney Island Reserve car park. Please note you can only access it leaving Gloucester, on the westbound side of Westgate Bridge.
Where: Meet in the car park for 1030. Or after that time find us along the paths finding litter as we go. We will leave a supply of bags and litter pickers at the rear of the rangers car should you arrive after time.
What: Today we will be litter picking and recycling what we can - sadly it's a never ending job! If you do find larger items please make note of their coords and the ranger will sort out collection.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools but we ask you to bring your own gloves and a litter picker if you have them.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please make sure you bring along your own drinks as it can be thirsty work!
