Wer kennt es nicht? Man möchte die Hagenberger Skyline um ein schmuckes Bürogebäude samt Tiefgarage bereichern, doch schon nach 5 Minuten stößt die Baggeschaufel auf ein tonnenschweres Hindernis aus Granit.
Je nach Größe der Brocken wird nun gebohrt, gestemmt, gesprengt und aus dem Erdreich gehoben.
Da der Abtransport der (meist immer noch tonnenschweren) Steine keine sonderlich günstige Option ist, landen viele stattdessen auf angrenzenden Grundstücken, wo sie (fast immer) positiv zum Mühlviertler Landschaftsbild beitragen.
Der Cache führt euch zu Granitbrocken, die beim Bau des direkt daneben gelegenen amsec aus der Erde gehoben wurden.
Beim Suchen und Heben ist Vorsicht geboten - vor allem zu Bürozeiten seid ihr potentiell im Blickfeld von Mitarbeitern diverser Firmen des Softwareparks.

Who hasn't experienced it? You want to add a shiny new office building with underground parking to the Hagenberg skyline, but after just 5 minutes the excavator shovel comes up against a granite obstacle weighing tons.
Depending on the size of the chunks, they are then drilled, chiseled, blasted and lifted out of the ground.
As the removal of the stones (which usually still weigh tons) is not a particularly cheap option, many end up on adjacent plots of land instead, where they (almost always) make a positive contribution to the Mühlviertel landscape.
The cache leads you to granite boulders that were lifted out of the ground when the amsec was built.
Take special care when searching for the cache - especially during office hours you are potentially in the field of vision of employees of various companies of the Softwarepark Hagenberg.
