Whilst this area is accessible 24/7, it is best to avoid attempting the cache between 8.30am - 9.15am and 3.15pm - 4pm on Mondays - Fridays as the area will be teemimg with Muggles. The cache itself is hidden well away and completely out of sight from the actual schools, but the car parking areas are shared by the schools at drop off and pick up times.
One of geopup Violet's favourite places to have a run and play tennis is this little park in Nunawading. Yes she actually plays tennis!! Well..... she steals the ball from us when we hit it against the wall at the Listed Waypoint and barks at us till we hit it again for her to chase again lol We then go on a couple of laps around the park and tennis court etc.
Nicoll Park is home to the Nunawading Tennis Club which was established on 17th August 1967 (and where MMelb had tennis lessons many many moons ago) The track is adjacent to Whitehorse Primary School and a little bit of St Phillips Primary school and also has a small playground as well as the area being an off-leash area with balls etc being provided for the locals to use for their dogs to chase!
OH... and..... this park is also where C@H gave JMelb the scare of her life jumping out of a tree as she, GMelb and Spladem were approaching a new cache aiming for a FTF, all the way back in 2012!! Read about that on the following link... Don't laugh too much!!
To find this cache you will need to experience the same circuit that we do with Violet, around the small park and adjacent tennis courts and track, gathering information by answering questions, to calculate GZ. Dont forget to stop before crossing the road!
