Locust Shade Park is the perfect place to go if you are looking for a variety of great amenities with a beautiful, scenic backdrop with picturesque trails. Amenities include 8 pavilions (available to rent), 3 playgrounds, horseshoe pits, 3 tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, 3.2 miles of scenic nature trails, a 15-station fitness trail, warrior challenge course, a mountain bike trail, batting cages, a driving range, an 18-hole miniature golf course, and an eight-acre pond. The park is also home to the Jean C. Smith Amphitheater.
