This letterbox hybrid is NOT at the posted coordinates! A letterbox hybrid is a cache that is both a letterbox and a geocache. Simply follow the instructions below to find the cache location. There is a stamp in the cache for people who collect letterbox stamps. This is not a trade item, so please make sure you leave it in the cache container.
This letterbox will take you into the Coquihalla River Community Park, a beautiful park with well-maintained walking trails. There's also a disc golf course, a bike park, and walking trails along the Coquihalla River. The adjoining Coquihalla Campground is very popular, and open from April to October.
Proceed to the posted coordinates, where you'll find a green post in the middle of the trail. Walk up the main trail for about 90 steps (you'll pass an intersection with small trails to the left and right), until you come to a signpost. Stay on the main trail towards the BikePark Disc Golf for another 72 steps. Then you'll see a big tree on the left and just past it is a most interesting "living stump" covered with bark.
Go 9 steps past the left side of the living stump until you are just behind an uprooted stump lying on the ground. The cache is hidden under bark behind that uprooted stump.
(If you prefer not to follow the letterbox directions, you can project a waypoint from the posted starting point instead: 108 m @ 88 degrees.)
Happy hunting, and watch out for flying saucers!
