Futoški park je nastao u prvoj dekadi 20.veka, neposredno po izgradnji Jodne banje, kao park specijalne namene podignut oko banje. Prvobitno idejno rešewe ovog parka je ponudio Armin Pec Mlađi, čuveni mađarski pejzažni arhitekta. Ovaj projekat nije realizovan, ali su u izvedenom rešenju prepoznatljivi elementi ovog projekta.
Delimična rekonstrukcija parka je izvršena 1964.godine, prema projektu obnove Futoškog parka (1962.godine) autora Ratibora Đorđevića. Pažljivo osmišljene staze, aleje, odmorišta, bogati cvetni parteri i dendroflora ukazuju na visok nivo prvobitnog projektatskog rešenja.
Park karakteriše veoma bogat fond biljnog materijala, sa preko 100 vrsta, varijeteta i formi dekorativne dendroflore, sa mnogobrojnim egzotičnim i autohtonim sortama.

Futoški Park was created in the first decade of the 20th century, immediately after the construction of the Jodna spa, as a special-purpose park built around the spa. Armin Pec Mlađi, the famous Hungarian landscape architect, offered the original conceptual solution of this park. This project was not realized, but the implemented solution has recognizable elements of this project.
Partial reconstruction of the park was carried out in 1964, according to the project for the reconstruction of Futoški Park (1962) by Ratibor Đorđević. Carefully designed paths, alleys, rest areas, rich flower beds, and dendroflora indicate the high level of the original design solution.
The park is characterized by a rich fund of flora, with over 100 species, varieties, and forms of decorative dendriform, with numerous exotic and autochthonous varieties.
