For the Twentieth year, please step aboard the good ship Black Pig and join us once again for what is almost certainly the UK's longest running annual event

Kick-off is at 13:00 and we expect to be wrapping things up around 17:00 - but hey! ... it's a pub so you can stay longer if you want
We will meet in the front bar area immediately in front of you as you come in the rear door and if that's full there is plenty of covered seating space outdoors to use or the other bar area to the right as you come in the rear door if required.
Well behaved dogs are welcome and Watson the resident hound will look forward to meeting them!
For your delight, 4 hand pulled real ales are always available on a rotating basis as well as a bank of regular draft lagers, and ales. Soft drinks, bar snacks, tea and coffee etc are also available.
The George is renowned for its homemade pies, details of which can be found on their website.
As the pies are home made the landlord has asked for an indication of how many want to eat, what variety of pie and at what time in advance so please email me with your requirements by November 30th

The usual annual mega-raffle WILL also be held and drawn at 3:30pm with the proceeds split 50/50 between a charity of our choice and one of The George's choice so donations on the day will be most welcome - thank you!
We hope to see the usual suspects there but equally as important, new geocachers are particularly welcome who can be assured of a warm reception and a chat about all things Geocaching related which will be readily given (especially after a few beers)
It is planned that some new caches will be in place for the event and the traditional Santa's Secret Cache for the Geokiddies will again be deployed somewhere in the area for the event!
