The Tale of the Beast of Many Arms
Once upon a time, in the land of Merrimack, there was a great ruler and storyteller by the name of Oakenheart.
Now Oakenheart loved to tell his tales in a clearing along the river. Such fascinating tales of bravery, love, adventure, and battles with great beasts, but none more fascinating than his battle with the beast of many arms.
You see, many years prior, the beast of many arms stole the most prized artifact of Oakenheart's kingdom, its most ancient artifact and essence of the kingdom itself.
So Oakenheart set out into the mighty forest to slay the beast and retrieve that which his kingdom held dear. Eventually he came upon the beast, towering overhead and angry as can be.
Oakenheart and the beast bathed for hours with each gaining the upper hand, only to be foiled by the other.
Eventually Oakenheart was able to land a mortal blow to the beast. However, before being able to retrieve his prize, the beast landed a devastating blow of its own and knocked Oakenheart out.
Hours later when Oakenheart awoke, the beast was nowhere to be found as it had managed to escape further into the woods.
Oakenheart spent many years searching for the beast of many arms but was unable to encounter it again.
To this day Oakenheart still searches the woods for the beast. Many say that the beast died still clutching the prized possession of Oakenheart's kingdom.
