Geocache Description:

While hiking in the area I have noticed a peak or a rocky outcrop that, from some reason, awoke the memory of Weathertop from LOTR movies. Immediately, I thought it would be nice to have a cache up there. Weathertop, or Amon Sûl, is the place where Frodo got stabbed by the Morgul-knife of the Witch-King. Therefore, it would be a proper location for Halloween themed or Haunted cache. So I finally made the hike up there and found a good spot. To make it more interesting, and less certain where to go, I made it a simple multicache. Since IMHO the true multi should have more than two stages, this cache has three stages, two virtual ones and the final where the container with the log is.

This is by no means a P&G and be prepared for a few miles roundtrip and some bushwhacking during the final approach!

At the posted coordinates you will find a map. There is a text paragraph on the back side of the map. In the text you will find a zipcode and a phone number.

the zipcode is your ABCDE
the phone number is your (FGH) IJK-LMNO

Now project  11*(J*((B+D)^2))+K*(A+M-D)' @ (F*L*B)+K degrees to reveal the location of the second stage.

Once you will reach the second stage, you will have a first nice look at your destination. Let me know in your log if it evokes some resemblance of Weathertop for you. You could probably go there and find the cache, but, to get more exact location, here is the second projection to get the final location:

From the second stage location project I*((K+L-M)^2)+10*J' @ (J+G)*(J*(F+D))+L-I degrees to reveal the final location.

I would recommend to leave the trail withing 300' from the second stage, but you may have another idea of the final approach.

Once you reach the GZ area, the cache should be very easy to find!

I suspect that it will become quite lonely soon, so it is log only. Please bring your own writing stick and sign the log.

Congratulations to RS Arizona & the Fellowship of the Ring

to be the first to survive the Nazgûl attack!
