I'm happy to announce that I have been selected as the Head Gamemaker and will be overseeing the 15th Annual Winter Hunger Games! Oh! Sorry, it's Winter Caching Games!
The Winter Caching Games is an annual tradition that was started by Sask_girl & Novy in the winter of 2008/2009. It has been hosted by other cachers over the years, and has gone through a few variations, as well as not being held for 2 years because of the pandemic.
The games themselves will be taking place from Dec 8, 2024 – Feb 15, 2025 with the wrap up planned to take place Feb 22, 2025. The official rules and task list will be published at the end of November on the actual Winter Caching Games event page.
This event is to let everyone know the Games are coming and to answer any questions you may have prior to the start.
Everyone is welcome to come out and learn how to have fun by caching through winter in Saskatchewan! You do not have to participate in the Winter Caching Games to attend this event... but then why not give the games a try?
