This ghostly cache will bring you to a pull-off that provides a view of Woodland's infamous Ghost Bridge. There is no need to get any closer to the bridge to locate the cache.
A frequent hideout for rebellious teenagers, the Ghost Bridge is a two-track railroad bridge owned by BNSF that spans across the Lewis River. Over the years, numerous accidents have occurred on the bridge that resulted in someone's death. Teenagers would challenge each other to make it to the Ridgefield side of the bridge before a train came, groups of friends would take turns diving from the bridge into the Lewis River below, and curious explorers would wander onto the easily accessible tracks. All of these risky activities have unfortunately resulted in someone's death, with at least 10 reported deaths over the past 25 years. This is how the Ghost Bridge earned its name.
EDIT 3/22/25: Due to the original container being stolen, the cache is now a camo DNA tube that is covered with natrual camo. Tweezers highly suggested. Please recover with natural camo when you rehide! BYOP. Available 24/7, but keep in mind that this is a hotspot for teens to gather at night.
