This event will start out at the Dairy Queen Restaurant in Muldraugh on Saturday, November 16th at 9:00am. and end at 9:45am. For those of us that want to hike, we will then drive 1-mile West to the listed trailhead at Otter Creek Park. If you are not a member of the park, there is a $3 fee for each person, children under 12 are free.
You do not have to hike to attend this event, simply come out and enjoy talking about gadget caches along with the normal geo talk with everyone.
After our Breakfast those who wish to hike will gather in the parking lot around 9:45am for the drive over to the hiking area. We plan to hike the first trail on you left just as you enter the park. NOTE! At this time Fish and wildlife do not man the booth so you must purchase a day pass via their website at https://fw.ky.gov/Pages/default.aspx
I will be placing several new gadget caches along our hike
This is roughly a 1-mile hike that has a few ups and downs. Be prepared with warm clothing and plenty of water and a snack for the trail. We will start out at the parking area and return back the same way (out and back).
