Geocache Description:

Chung Thye Phin Villa, also known as Relau Mansion, was built by the wealthy tin miner who was the last Kapitan China of Perak in the 1930s. Back then, it was an architectural wonder featuring many Roman pillars and an indoor open-air pool. Sadly, it was abandoned in later years.

It became a favourite spot amongst urban explorers and paranormal hunters. There was even news that you could smell curry being cooked while exploring or sightings of a female lady in red. You can find YouTube videos of such ghost-hunting activities.

Due to its popularity, the site was later sealed up in the mid-2010s. Nonetheless, the gates to the fence remained unlocked, and you can still clearly see signs of trespassing. Before being sealed, the site remained relatively safe to explore, but now it is overgrown with trees and shrubs. You can still find paranormal-related paraphernalia scattered around the surrounding grounds.

If you do attempt this cache, I suggest paying attention to the architecture details of the building, which you can still safely view from outside.

Regarding the cache:

It is NOT located within the villa. You will need to explore the area surrounding the villa to find it. It's a palm-sized container. Expect to be food for mozzies. Please place the cache back the same way you found it. Spoiler photo is available.
