The Caledonian Mansion, also known as the 99-doors Mansion, is a famous abandoned mansion in this area. It was built in 1916 and owned by the Ramsden family. However, it was abandoned in the 1960s.
The mansion is also infamous for an unsolved murder where one of the Ramsden family members was murdered in the house.
After it was abandoned, multiple stories surfaced on how the mansion is linked with the supernatural. It is believed that you can access dark forces if you can summon the 100th door.
The mansion remained a favourite spot for urban explorers and paranormal hunters. You used to be able to enter and explore it freely. However, a fire that broke out in 2020 and another incident involving a filming crew that damaged part of the building led to the entrance to the mansion being permanently closed now.
Its current caretaker explained that the owner refuses entrance nowadays because they are upset with the number of social media posts portraying the site as an evil site, harming the reputation of the historic building. Steps are also being taken now to restore the building.
On another note, the caretaker also highlighted that there are a total of 6 dogs living outside of the mansion. They roam freely and guard the mansion from outsiders. While there, I saw the caretaker taking a large bucket of meat into the area to feed those dogs.

The cache is reachable within a 10-minute drive from the Jawi toll on NSE.
The cache is not located inside the palm oil plantation or around the building. It is outside the entrance, and you can easily retrieve it without even going near the gate. You can park outside the entrance while you do so.
