Milo and I feel like we need to have an event for absolutely no reason at all! I was looking at the calendar and trying to decide when, and I landed on November 17th. Great, but now where? Let's meet at Settlers Cabin, that looks like a good place to have an event! Awesome, Now that I have the date and the location, time... hmmmm. 11:30 AM is late enough in the morning that the sun will hopefully warm things up enough that we won't freeze. We can sit around for an hour to talk about all those great caching adventures we have been on this year. But, what if it's rainy or even snowy? No worries, we will be meeting at the Algonquin Shelter, which is the first shelter on the left when you come into the park. Its a larger shelter too! I just hope the county doesnt decide to take the shelter away, like they did when we met for National Cinnamon Roll day, back in October LOL!
I will bring some hot drinks to share, most likely a box of joe, see if they can make us a box of hot chocolate as well and some snacks. I will also try to have some doggie goodies to share for any pups that come out to the event as well. If you would like to bring something to share, that would be great. There is a playground close by, so the little ones will have something to do as well. If you want to bring the geodog, great! But, please clean up after them if they make a mess. I will probably have Milo in toe, so he can see all of his friends. So, if you have nothing going on on November 17th, why not stop by Settlers for a little bit.
