There doesn't seem to be a Wyoming Spirit Quest series... so maybe this will be the start of one!  We were in the area doing maintenance on some other caches today, and noticed there wasn't a cache on this site.  

The Reader Cemetery is located outside of Savory, Wyoming and is a beautiful, quiet location near the border of Colorado & Wyoming on WY Hwy 70.
The oldest grave on Find-A-Grave is that of Pvt. Jacob Cogdill - (1829-1882).  I do not know if this is the first burial here or not.

The cache can be accessed without entering the cemetery fence!

The Wyoming Spirit Quest is a series of Caches, near cemeteries and historic memorial sites in hopes of paying respect to the many pioneer ancestors that have ‘walked’ before us. There are hundreds of cemeteries in the rural and mountain communities across Wyoming . This series will introduce you to many of them.   After locating the cache container, take some time to reflect back on the lives of those pioneers and the effort it took to make Wyoming the amazing state it is!

This series was started by momcheers in the Fall of 2024 and is based on the Colorado Spirit Quest Series. This series will not be possible without the willingness of other cachers to participate in the placement and maintenance of their caches. Each person that places a WSQ cache is responsible for its maintenance.
