Welcome to Conway Park’s Tallgrass Prairie Cache: Prairie Giant!
Hidden just inside the wood line near Fischer Prairie, this cache is housed in a huge bison tube, adding an extra element of fun to your adventure! Fischer Prairie is a beautiful and vital ecosystem that supports a variety of wildlife, from grassland birds and pollinators like bees and butterflies to game birds such as quail and pheasant. These native prairie plants are hardy, low-maintenance, and adapted to the local soil and climate, helping prevent erosion, enriching the soil, and purifying water. The prairie puts on a stunning display year-round, with wildflowers and tall grasses creating vibrant scenes through every season.
Please remember that Conway Park is open from 6 AM to 9 PM, and be sure to park in designated areas to help protect the landscape.
I thought I’d be done hiding caches for a while, but when I got my hands on this massive bison tube, I couldn’t resist! Stay tuned for even more creative hides like this one coming soon. Permission has been granted to place the cache.
