Filling the Gaps Series 2 – 1. Old Railway Bridge
This is the second of two series after noticing a ‘blackhole’ in geocaches in my area. This series will take you on the ‘Pantydwr Loop’. Please drive carefully as the road can be small and winding in places, however all geocaches are in safe places with room to park off the road.
The first in the Filling the Gaps Series II takes you away from the old Llanidloes to Rhayader road. You will come to an old railway bridge which is now a road bridge. The railway used to run to Llanidloes from Llandrindod Wells but was sadly closed in the 1960’s.
There is a layby just before you reach the bridge, you must walk a short distance to the cache but the lane is very quiet.
