Geocache Description:


The Tassie Event is being held on the traditional lands of the Mumirimina People of the Oyster Bay Tribe and we wish to acknowledge them as Traditional Owners.

We would also like to pay our respects to their Elders, past and present who have resided in the area and have been an integral part of the history of this region.

"Not all those who wander are lost."

Unless their GPS battery is dead, then they are lost.

The Tassie Cleanup

  • What: A cleanup at the park.
  • Where: Pioneer Park, 14 Parsonage Place Sorell TAS 7172
  • Start: Saturday 7th March 2026 @ 1.30pm
  • End: Saturday 7th March 2026 @ 2.30pm

Join us to help the local community keep the areas we love to play in tidy by doing a cleanup at the nearby Pioneer Park.

There is not a lot of parking at Pioneer park, so please park at one of the 2 provided waypoints.

In your will attend log, please let us know how many people from your team are joining us, using the format "At Number At". For two people write @2@ and for thirteen @13@
