How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:


When:  Saturday 23rd August, 12:00 to 14:00
Stop for a few minutes to say hello or the full two hours, we don't mind.
We shall be there for the full two hours to welcome you whenever you arrive.

Where: The Plough Inn, Appleton
Eaton Road, Appleton, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, OX13 5JR

What: Come along and help us to celebrate 25 years of Geocaching and 22 years of Geocaching for us, Mad H@ter and muddy legs at The Plough Inn, Appleton. We shall be in the garden weather allowing or if not, we'll be inside somewhere and can be identified by the green Geocaching flag that will be by us. Refreshments and food will be available at the pub.

There will be a draw for an FTF prize, make sure you enter on arrival. This will be drawn before the finish at around 13:30, so if you don't plan to be there at the end, please ensure you leave contact details on your entry.

We shall be placing around twenty to thirty new caches and one or two sets of Adventure Labs to help you celebrate this momentous Geocaching anniversary year. These will be going live at around 09:00, so you will have time to find some before the event.
