09/10/2010 - a memorable day for lots of reasons in thewhitedoggang!
Saturday 9 October 2010 - a few cachers got together to find a few on their way to Shepherds Hill CITO https://coord.info/GC2F86T
Trail06, Team Waldron & thewhitedoggang set off from the top of Shepherds Hill Conversation Park to hike & cycle down the trails to the CITO
But it all went horriby wrong at the first cache & mrwhitedog slipped & fell - its a long story after that!!
Anyway the SA Caching Community rallied around to help thewhitedoggang family out with a multitude of things offered. They even held a Quiz Night which raised 1000s of dollars that was donated to the family.
And everything turned out OK in the end.
You're invited to join us for a donut – bring your own coffee - so the thewhitedoggang can say THANKS to all geocachers in SA & commemorate 15 years since that day.
