Please join me for some crafting fun!
Rock painting has become increasingly popular in recent years as a creative means of spreading joy. For some it is merely a hobby to enjoy on their own, and others like to place their creations in parks or neighborhoods for others to discover. It's kind of like geocaching in that sense!
I will provide all supplies for you to decorate your own rock(s). We will be working with acrylic paint markers rather than liquid paint so that we may share more easily and minimize the risk of mess. Your creation will be yours to do with as you please: display at home, place in a cache as swag, or place somewhere else for someone else to find.
We will gather in the meeting room at the Northgate branch of the Seattle Public Library. There is ample parking at the library; however, the library shares the lot with the adjacent community center. In the event the parking lot is full, there is alternative parking across the street at Northgate Mall. For those taking public transit, the Link stops a few blocks west of the event, and bus routes 61, 67, 75, and 348 stop very near the event.
I look forward to seeing you and your beautiful creations!
