Come and help out with the monthly litter pick at Lesnes Abbey organised by the Friends of Lesnes Abbey.
A tenth outing and after a change with some holly bashing earlier in the month it's back to removing litter from this historic site. I did wonder about having 2 in a month but the usual Friends organiser isn't available so they asked me if I could look after it so here it is. It'll be another Church Micro CITO too. There's a souvenir available for anyone who hasn't already got it. With a couple of hours should be able to make it to the further ends of the park that sometimes don't make.
Pickers and sacks will be provided. It's suitable for young and old and a great opportunity to get into the woods, meet like-minded people and keep the woods looking fantastic. All you need to bring is a willingness to get stuck in. I've added a waypoint for the bin which the litter needs to go into at the end.
Meet at 12:00 noon outside the Lodge Office which is the opposite side of the Lodge to the cafe.
