Come to a cool family friendly park, for pre-holiday geocaching event!
Opjim is traveling down from Payson, to meet east valley friends in Mesa. Location is Pioneer Park in Mesa, which has an amazing roller slide which Opjim's grandchildren love to visit. It will be held in Ramada 4. Theme is the ammocan, which is OPJim's favorite type of geocaching container. At the event, the logbook will be a 50 caliber ammocan container. Once completed, it will then be hid in a suitable location as a new geocache placement (location to be determined).
The real purpose of this event is for OPJim to payback those many geocachers who have hosted events which OPJim has been able to attend by hosting in return.
Please brings any interesting containers for display or trading. Ammocans always welcome!
Please note that City of Mesa regulations prohibit alcohol or broadcast music at this park for this event.
