At the posted coordinates you will find yourself at an intersection of a sidewalk and a walking path next to a picnic table. You must follow the directions given to find the Letterbox Hybrid Geocache. You will need to count paces to get to the final container. A pace is, when standing with your feet together, you take a step with your right foot, and then with your left. When your left foot hits the ground that is one pace (two steps). The average step is roughly 15", so the average pace is 30" give or take. Someone with longer then average legs will have a longer pace, and someone with shorter than average legs will have a shorter pace. We will be using the "average" pace for this, and don't worry I will give you helpers along the way to keep you on track.
Start by walking slightly downhill at 51° for 7 paces. You should now be in the middle of the walking path.
You now need to turn to 171° and walk for 88 paces. Along the way at roughly pace 58 you should have a burned tree stump directly to your left. And at roughly pace 72 you will encounter the first of 3 sets of Zebra Stripes. The Zebra Stripes should protect you from any fast moving dangers that may run into you in this area.
Once you have completed all 88 paces, you will need to turn to face 261° and walk for 14 paces. You will cross the second set of Zebra Stripes here.
You will need to now turn to 261° and walk for 22 paces. You will cross the third set of Zebra Stripes during this leg of the quest.
You now need to turn to face 163° and walk for 6 paces. You will go through 2 sets of magic doors that work on their own, and pass between 3 clear plastic towers. Once you make it through the three clear plastic towers, the geocache will be directly on your right 2 paces.
As this is a Letterbox Hybrid Geocache, the stamp inside the container must remain in the cache, it is not SWAG for trading. If you have a personal stamp feel free to stamp the logbook.
There is no need to interact with the staff at the final location. They are aware of the container and will leave you be as you interact with it.
The Letterbox Hybrid Geocache is available:
Monday - Thursday: 10:00AM to 7:00PM
Friday - Saturday 10:00AM to 6:00PM
Sunday: 1:00PM to 5:00PM
