Chef Lambert Givens
Chef Lambert Givens is no stranger to competition. After playing college football at South Carolina State University, he took his competitive spirit and love for food to Boston where he climbed up through the ranks and cut his teeth under some of the best chefs in the city.
He soon worked his way through the Boston’s kitchens, flexing his culinary prowess before landing as an executive chef in South Boston in August 2021 serving up delicious Southern comfort food.
In 2022, Chef Givens took on Chef Bobby Flay on Food Network’s Beat Bobby Flay, where he knocked off the famous chef in a gumbo showdown.
In his free time, you can find him rooting for the hometown team, the New England Patriots, watching college football or walking his Siberian Husky, Max.
