I can only imagine that it must have been just Talking Heads when the plan was set for this interchange, where everyone thought that this interchange would help alleviate the traffic probelms in the Macathur Area. But it seems that its currently a road to nowhere complete with a full set of traffic lights already in position!
Eventually this road will link to Liz Kernahan Drive in Spring Farm, which will in fact have a big affect on the traffic. But the missing link construction is not meant to commence until sometime in 2026, and rumour has it that it will continue into Glen Alpine one day. Lets hope not! Nonetheless an interesting spoy for now.
