As a follow-on to my previous hammock-themed event "The Swing of Things", here's an event that pays homage to two distinct hanging things; hammocks and tree caches. I've also pushed the event time late into the evening, so that if you're just in it for the smiley...then you'll need to "Hang About". I've picked up two new toys I am keen to play with since the last time; a squid pole and a pair of carbon fiber trekking poles that convert into hammock stands so I don't actually need a pair of trees to put up a hammock.

The plan is to arrive on Saturday from around 3pm, set up camp, sit around and gasbag, maybe even try a couple of close caches, visit Teddington's Hut just down the road a bit.

The co-ords are a pin drop on a nice spot with a fire pit and a table, not far from toilets and rubbish bins, If someone else has already claimed this spot when I get there, I'll find another location and update the co-ords here (if there's phone service) - and/or leave the co-ords with the squatters.

Of course, a camping event is only fun if the weather co-operates. I don't mind a passing shower or sprinkle, but if the weekend is a wash-out commonsense shall prevail. The trees in this area look prone to acting like soccer players when someone looks at them wrong. Post your will-attends to stay in the loop!
