The Bridge Barn in Woking has closed its doors, so this year our Christmas Party has relocated to The Cricketers in Horsell. The party kicks off at 6:30 pm on Thursday 19 December. I hope you can make it.

I'm afraid the venue isn't as good as the Bridge Barn for public transport, but it does have a much bigger car park!

Unfortunately, I was a little late with my planning and (appropriately for the season) there was no room in the inn. They don't have stables, but they have offered us use of their garden bar area - this is covered and (I'm assured) well heated, but you might want to wear a coat! If it's snowing, bring a carrot for the snowman's nose.
Menus can be found on The Cricketers' website. The pub would like to know how many of us are planning to attend and to eat, so please let me have numbers in your logs. Thank you.
Party on!
These events are a great way to meet fellow cachers, share caching stories and even pick up a few hints for those infuriating puzzles ... as well as enjoying a glass or two! If you've never been to an event before, you'll be made very welcome, whether you're from Surrey or further afield. There will also be the opportunity to swap and discover Travel Bugs and Geocoins.
The Surrey events are held monthly, usually on the fourth Thursday of the month. They are organized by local cachers and can be held anywhere in the county. We are constantly looking for new volunteers to host events, so if you're interested please click here for more information.
