December 7th, 1941
A date which will live in infamy.
To listen to President Roosevelt's speech from December 8th, 1941 PRESS HERE. In the video you will note that President Roosevelt was seated before his introduction. He had polio and was paralized from the waist down which confined him to a wheel chair. A condition he tried to concel when in public.
The Event
This event has nothing to do with the events of the past, but is just a good ol' get-together of area geocachers. It will soon be winter and some of us may head for warmer climates or just stay inside more. Whatever you do, more than likely you won't be out caching as much during the winter so why not an event?
Location: Hy-Vee Cafeteria where food and drink are available. As with any event, purchase of food or drink is not a requirement of attending.
