El Aeropuerto Nacional El Portillo (IATA: EPS, OACI: MDPO) prestaba servicio a la provincia de Samaná. Estaba situado al norte de esta provincia. Este aeropuerto era utilizado por operadores de vuelos privados y algunos servicios chárter hacia la República Dominicana.
Este aeropuerto dejó de ser operativo en febrero de 2012.
Interesante en este punto:
La pista está marcada con una "X" roja en este punto, lo que indica a los pilotos desde el aire que la pista está cerrada. Aquí, incluso esta "X" está ya bastante erosionada.

Der Flughafen El Portillo National (IATA: EPS, ICAO: MDPO) diente der Provinz Samaná. Er befand sich im Norden dieser Provinz. Dieser Flughafen wurde für private Fluggesellschaften und einige Charterflüge in die Dominikanische Republik genutzt.
