Geocache Description:

Head out an unmarked trailhead in the 101 Pines neighborhood. The trail leads to a woodland road that circles the north end of Keevies Lake. At the beginning, the trail is lined with blackberry bushes, but they are trimmed back. Just watch that an eager vine doesn't grab you! Also, be aware that the dirt road leading around the south end of the lake enters private propery, so keep to the north end of the lake which is where the cache is located.

A picture of Keevie Lake which is filled with lilly pads and surrounded by woodland trees. There are fluffy clouds reflecting on the lake.

As you hike up the road, you pass through the Keevie Lake Natural Area, owned by King County. The cache is placed near one of the access points for fishing at Keevie Lake. There are catfish and other warm water fish in the lake. If you are into fishing, bring your gear and give it a try!

This is a gadget cache. Everything you need for accessing the log book is available at the cache. Please take care handling the cache, and be sure to return everything exactly as you found it. If something is broken, please send me an email or text me. My phone number is written on the bottom of the cache. I live nearby in the 101 Pines neighborhood.

I hope you enjoy this area and have fun with this gadget cache!
