Often I will wind up in areas and will think to myself "Hey, this could be a nice spot to host a geo-event!" Well I thought I would try hosting a few in those various locations I've visited just to see how well it actually works out. This will be the first of my "Test Event Locations", or TEL for short. A series of events held in varying locations (and possibly varying success) to see which location ends up being the biggest hit. By the end of this experience I hope to host my Community Celebration Event at the location that ended up being the most favored by attendees.
For this first location I chose the Veranda shopping center. The first time I visited this center I took notice of the musical fountain, which made me think of a smaller scale Fountains of Bellagio from Vegas.
Meet at the big long table. Hopefully the fountain will be on for everyone's enjoyment.
Parking is usually a challenge later in the day here, but this early in the morning there should be plenty available.
As far as food in the area there's are 2 nearby places that will be open at the time of the event, while most of the other nearby restaurants will open by the time the event ends. (11am)
There's also some other things to do nearby for after the event is over for those interested!
