Park on NE 30th St and enter the trailhead to the left of the playground for the fastest path to the cache. Follow the winding trail through the trees, cross two bridges, then start searching at the next Y split intersection. The cache is a small lock-n-lock container, big enough for small SWAG.
Ardmore is my favorite peaceful hiking spot, so naturally I placed my first geocache there. The number of trailheads, natural features, and pleasant spaces in this park keeps every visit fresh. If it's a warm, sunny day, I highly recommend bringing your favorite lawn game or blanket and enjoying the perfect grassy space at the front of the park by the playground. If it's wet out, wear hiking boots or anything you don't mind getting muddy.
