Il Parco Asusa si trova a Isili e offre sentieri panoramici e un percorso fitness attrezzato. All’interno, è possibile esplorare un piccolo villaggio nuragico, abitato tra il 1.600 e il 1.150 a.C., e il maestoso Nuraghe Asusa, risalente al 1.300 a.C. Questo nuraghe, di tipo “a tancato” (evoluzione dei nuraghi monotorre: alla torre principale veniva aggiunto in un secondo tempo un altro edificio circolare, raccordato alla torre originaria tramite due cortine murarie racchiudenti al loro interno un cortile, talvolta fornito di un pozzo), è costituito da due torri collegate da possenti mura che racchiudono un suggestivo cortile interno. La sua straordinaria somiglianza con il Nuraghe “Is Paras” ha portato gli studiosi a ipotizzare che entrambi siano opera delle stesse abilissime maestranze.

Asusa Park is located in Isili and offers panoramic paths and an equipped fitness trail. Inside, it is possible to explore a small Nuragic village, inhabited between 1.600 and 1.150 BC, and the majestic Nuraghe Asusa, dating back to 1.300 BC. This nuraghe, of the "tancato" type (evolution of the single-tower nuraghi: another circular building was added to the main tower at a later time, connected to the original tower by two curtain walls enclosing a courtyard inside them, sometimes equipped with a well) , consists of two towers connected by mighty walls that enclose a suggestive internal courtyard. Its extraordinary resemblance to the Nuraghe “Is Paras” has led scholars to hypothesize that both are the work of the same highly skilled workers.
