Immersa in un incantevole parco attrezzato per picnic e attività sportive, a circa un chilometro dal centro abitato di Escolca, si trova la suggestiva Chiesa campestre della Madonna delle Grazie. La località, chiamata “Su Guventu”, deve il suo nome a un antico convento di frati un tempo situato in questa zona.
Questa chiesa, un gioiello di spiritualità e storia, era originariamente conosciuta come Santa Maria de Is Bingias, come testimonia un’iscrizione su una campana datata 1579.
Ogni anno, il 2 luglio, Escolca celebra la festa in onore di Nostra Signora delle Grazie.
All’interno, un particolare cattura l’attenzione: un’acquasantiera ottagonale, simbolo della devozione che per secoli ha animato questo luogo. Un connubio perfetto tra spiritualità, storia e natura, che invita a vivere un momento di pace e riflessione nel cuore della Sardegna.

Nestled in a charming park equipped for picnics and sports activities, about a kilometer from the town of Escolca, is the charming country church of Madonna delle Grazie. The locality, called “Su Guventu,” owes its name to an ancient convent of friars, once located in this area. This church, a jewel of spirituality and history, was originally known as Santa Maria de Is Bingias, as evidenced by an inscription on a bell dated 1579. Every year, on July 2, Escolca celebrates the festival in honor of Our Lady of Graces.
Inside, one detail catches the eye: an octagonal stoup, a symbol of the devotion that has animated this place for centuries. A perfect combination of spirituality, history and nature, inviting one to experience a moment of peace and reflection in the heart of Sardinia.
