Il nuraghe è datato 1.600-1.000 a.C. e deve il suo nome alla località del territorio di Seulo in cui sorge, distante poco più di 2 km dal paese. È un nuraghe monotorre, dove la torre si conserva per un’altezza residua di circa 7 metri. E' sorprendente il notevole spessore murario, superiore ai 2 metri. Sulla sinistra dell'ingresso è presente la caratteristica scala elicoidale: facendo attenzione puoi salire i gradini per arrivare al piano superiore e da qui ammirare un suggestivo panorama verso la valle del rio Medau, punteggiata da boschi di roverella, con il monte Perdedu sullo sfondo. Data la struttura, la posizione e la vicinanza con strutture simili, si suppone che questo fosse un “nuraghe-vedetta” facente parte di un sistema di controllo del territorio.
The nuraghe is dated 1.600-1.000 BC. and takes its name from the locality in the Seulo area in which it stands, just over 2 km from the town. It is a single-tower nuraghe, where the tower remains are approximately 7 metres high. The wall thickness - over 2 metres - is surprising. On the left of the entrance there is the characteristic helical staircase: you can climb the steps to the top - be careful! - where you can admire an impressive view over Rio Medau valley, the oak woods and Perdedu Mount in the background. Because of the structure, the position and the proximity to similar structures, it is assumed this was a "lookout nuraghe" to control the area.
