Il Pozzo Sacro di Coni a Nuragus è un monumento nuragico di grande valore, risalente al 1.400 a.C., situato nel cuore di un immaginario triangolo che unisce i Nuraghi Santu Millanu, Valenza e Serra Ilixi. Nonostante le sue dimensioni contenute, il pozzo colpisce per la raffinata tecnica costruttiva, con blocchi basaltici ben squadrati che formano la camera sotterranea e i gradini. La sua funzione religiosa è confermata dal ritrovamento di un bronzetto votivo raffigurante una "Matriarca in preghiera", simbolo di devozione e spiritualità antica. Un luogo che racconta la profonda connessione tra il popolo nuragico e il sacro.
The Sacred Well of Coni a Nuragus is a valuable Nuragic monument, dating back to 1.400 B.C., located in the heart of an imaginary triangle joining the Nuraghi Santu Millanu, Valenza and Serra Ilixi. Despite its small size, the well is striking for its refined construction technique, with well-squared basalt blocks forming the underground chamber and steps. Its religious function is confirmed by the discovery of a votive bronze statuette depicting a “Matriarch in prayer,” a symbol of ancient devotion and spirituality. A place that tells of the deep connection between the Nuragic people and the sacred.
