Newquay War Memorial

Please READ all of the description.

A listed monument. Part of the War Memorial series numbered #2223

Honouring the fallen of Newquay during WW1 and WW2 and additional conflicts. Cairn surmounted by a Cross on a two-stepped base. Main inscription including names on three tablets on the front face. Two further inscription tablets on the north and west sides.

Sitting with pride near Fistral Beach, Newquay Headland and Huers Hut, offering stunning views of the north Cornish coast.

First World War memorial unveiled on 24 May 1921 with Second World War and later additions.

This single stage multi-cache askes you to gather information from the memorial to discover the coordinates to the final location.
