This cache is located within the Barber Hills mountain bike and hiking trail system, one of the finest in NE Texas, near Sanders Cove on Pat Mayse Lake. Park at the trailhead and observe the signage. Although the cache is only a short ways on an easy trail, there are dozens, maybe hundreds of miles of trails in this well maintained complex, with picnic tables and bike servicing stations. Bring a lunch and enjoy the peace of the forest.
You will be seeking an old ammo can. To get to the cache, take the trail for which the cache is named. Take a short stroll on the well marked path, and it will lead you to the area. It is hidden but easily accesed about 20' off the path. Original contents are a logbook, pen, and the usual swag found in a regular sized cache. This being a forest, be aware of the usual critters.
