The cache is not at the listed coordinates. When you find the cache you will see why this location always reminds me of the Peanuts comic series by Charles M. Schulz. From the first strip, it showed the vulnerability of Charlie Brown to comments from his peers.The strip below was originally black and white. Once again, Charlie Brown's idea is rejected.
When you look toward the horizon from here, you can see the outline of Snoopy as he looked laying on his doghouse roof. The left side is his head (Old Baldy) the stomach is Mount Rushmore and the feet are a pinnacle of rock south of Mount Rushmore that is difficult to see from most other locations. As you leave the trailhead eastbound on Highway 16, there is another Snoopy vantage point on the first curve (GCAZFJA Snoopy Sleeping). There is an approach at the cache site on the westbound side of the road. The view is different there if you want to compare photos.
