Geocaching NSW would like to invite all geocachers to our annual expedition to explore the great state of New South Wales. This year we will be travelling to Tamworth, in the heart of the New England region of NSW on the weekend of the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of February.
Tamworth is about a 4 hour and 40 minute drive from Sydney and about a 7 hour and 20 minute drive from Canberra, so plan a long weekend and find some caches on the way. Tamworth has plenty of country swagger and plenty of great caches for people to find. So why not team up with a few friends and make it a really memorable weekend.
On Friday evening we will meet at the Longyard Hotel, 10/12 Ringers Rd, Tamworth for an informal get together to meet up and plan adventures for the weekend. The Longyard Hotel is a Tamworth Institution. Loved by Locals and visitors, and is the place to be for juicy steaks straight from the grill, plus all the pub grub favourites.
