"We welcome you in Rye Church and to the cemetery and hope you will enjoy your visit to this beautiful place. As both the church and cemetery is a peaceful holy place, we recommend that you move quietly around.
Sincerely,
Rye Parish. "
Rye Church is one of Denmark's road churches, which means it is open for visitors Monday – Saturday between 8:00 to 16:00 when there are no religious ceremonies. The graveyard is open from 8:00 – sunset.
The church was built in year 1150 where the apse, choir and ship has it’s origin. North chapel facing the vicarage and the church tower was added in 1600. A fire in 1658 led to rebuilding of the north chapel and tower. Holger Trolle set his name in 1694 on the spire of the tower, F.C. Rosenkrans did not like this, so he gave the tower its present appearance and placed his wife's and own initials on the tower's west gable in 1770 and the letters FRC and the year 1771 on the roof.
Inside the church is the main attraction the fresco on the vaulted apse in showing the heavenly lord. It was created by Jørlundeværkstedet around year 1150. It was raised and restored in 1969.
Note that the church has two organs. When Rye finally got a new organ for the church in 2006, the old one had been preserved and therefore cannot be removed.
At the cemetery stands a macabre grave memorial of some murdered people. Solving this murder mystery was described by Assessor Malthe Brun in a book about interrogation techniques. Moreover, the book "Hvem leger bedst" by Lotte Lincke is based on these murders.
When the cache is found, I recommend you go a little trip around the cemetery. There is a great idea-richness of the decoration of tomb stones, so you can find stones with a scissors, guitars and other references to the deceased's occupation.
The cache is created in cooperation with the former parish priest Birgit and approved by the Rye parish. (2010)

What to do with the 20 numbers (digits) after answering the 4 questions:
The numbers have to be sorted in rising order etc.:
If the numbers are 6, 17, 9 and 6, you arrange them as follows: 16679.
After that you have to fulfil the row with the missing numbers 16679023458.
Now a=1, b=6, c=6, d=7, e=9, f=0, g=2, h=3, i=4, j=5 and k=8.
You will have to find the values fro the letters a to ? following above rules.
