Chaos Theory is the study of systems that appear random and unpredictable but are governed by deterministic rules. These systems are highly sensitive to initial conditions, meaning tiny changes can lead to vastly different outcomes. The over-sensitivity to input conditions is commonly known as the "Butterfly Effect". Chaos Theory explores the underlying order in these seemingly disordered systems, often revealing complex and beautiful patterns like fractals and strange attractors. Some examples of chaotic systems include weather patterns, ecosystems, and stock market fluctuations.   



Come explore strange attractors with me. Strange attractors have several characteristics.  Among them are chaotic dynamics which asserts non-repeatable trajectories. Yet, the tragectories will stubbornly remain constrained in a phase space. Attractors like this will often exhibit beautiful fractal geometry. The fractals reveal fine details that repeat at scales that drill down to smaller and smaller scales with uncanny and truly unexpected repeatability. Despite the chaos strange attractor trajectories are demonstrably stable and remain bounded in a region of phase space revealing a subtle deterministic nature among the chaos.
