Mrzlica je v zadnjih nekaj letih postala izredno priljubljena izletniška točka, posebej za obiskovalce iz Savinjske doline in Zasavja. S svojimi 1122 metri nadmorske višine je četrta najvišja gora zasavskega hribovja in z nje je, tako kot s Kuma, izjemen razgled, saj so vsi bližnji vrhovi precej nižji.
Koča sama je nekoliko pod vrhom Mrzlice (okrog 30 metrov) in na vrh vodi strma pot skozi gozd. Na vrhu je razgledna plošča, ki nam omogoča dobro orientacijo

In the last few years, Mrzlica has become an extremely popular excursion destination, especially for visitors from Savinjska dolina and Zasavje. With its 1,122 meters above sea level, it is the fourth highest mountain of the Zasava Hills and, like from Kuma, it offers an exceptional view, as all nearby peaks are much lower.
The hut itself is slightly below the top of Mrzlica (about 30 meters) and a steep path through the forest leads to the top. There is a viewing panel at the top, which gives us a good orientation.
